The house is located on the border of the village with a great, straight view over the Semois. Also the garden ( 3000m² ) is borded by the ruisseau du Petit fayt, a tributary of the Semois, and by the bridge Saint Lambert, that is a very well known historical little bridge.
There is a large offer of recreation. In the summer the shore of the Semois becomes a lyingarea on max. hundred meters of your door. Children can swim there and catch fish in the clear water. There is also the possibility to rent kajaks in the village.
From Vresse you can start several mountainbiketours or many marked walkingtours which lead you trough beautifull forests, old tobacco barns, hidden mountainrivers, ... For more information there a tourist office present in the village.
Other touristic villages in the neighborhood are:
- Bohan (6km): restaurants and shops
- All Sur Semois (6km): bowling, tennis, mini golf, climbing, table-tennis, rental of mountainbikes,…
- Rochehaut (10 km): splendid panorama, restaurants
- Bouillon (25km): citadel of Godfried of Bouillon
- Sedan (25 km): largest citadel of Europe
